Report an adverse event
People can report suspected medicine adverse events to the Therapeutic Goods Administration. An adverse-event report documents a suspected relationship. It does not require the person to prove that the medicine caused the event.
What DAEN is, and is not
The Database of Adverse Event Notifications publishes information from suspected reports. Counts are not incidence. There is no reliable denominator. Under-reporting is expected. A published row is not a verdict, and a missing row is not evidence of absence.
Help with reporting is available from the TGA on 1800 809 361. Paradoxical.life does not submit reports on your behalf, and will not in this prototype.
