Medical boundary

Evidence and a notebook. Not a doctor.

Paradoxical.life provides evidence and self-documentation tools, not medical advice. If you have concerns about your health, medication or mental state, speak with a qualified medical practitioner.

Paradoxical.life does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations or personalised medical advice. Information on this website is derived from published research, recognised clinical guidance, regulatory information and clearly identified lived-experience research. Scientific evidence generally describes populations. It cannot determine what is medically occurring for an individual person. Do not start, stop, increase, reduce or otherwise change prescribed medication because of information shown on this website. If you have concerns about your health, medication, withdrawal symptoms, mental state or treatment, speak with a qualified medical practitioner. Links to original sources are provided so you and your healthcare practitioner can examine the evidence directly.

This product will not

  • Diagnose, or invite you to self-diagnose from a page.
  • Prescribe, or recommend a change of dose, medicine, or tapering schedule.
  • Decide which of several possible labels “wins”.
  • Determine whether a medicine caused an individual symptom.
  • Produce a safety score, psychosis-risk score, withdrawal probability, or personal causality score.
  • Tell you that you are fine, or that you should not worry.
  • Give legal advice about NDIS eligibility, plans, appeals, or whether a child will remain on the scheme.
  • Turn a Both Sides thread, passport, or system brief into an NDIS decision, diagnosis, or funding score.
  • Record a clinical conversation without consent, keep audio, or submit anything to the NDIA or myplace.
  • Connect to NDIA APIs as if a family could pull their own plan into this notebook. Those APIs are for registered providers.

This product will

  • Help you record what changed, when it changed, and what else changed nearby.
  • Show published evidence with classifications and sources you can inspect.
  • Generate questions for a clinical review — and leave them unanswered.
  • Point Australian users to TGA reporting pathways.
  • Hold a shared record of what was meant, heard, and agreed — without deciding the case.
  • Let a person speak, paste, or upload a note so Scribe can file it into the case they already own on this device.
